DIY Glitter Halloween Frame

I am so excited to share this with you!! I was over at Hobby Lobby this week trying to frame this vintage Halloween tin sign and lets just say it didn't work out! It was a unusual size that wouldn't' fit any standard size frame. I was so bummed that I had to make something else just to make myself feel better. Lol! So I decided why not just make a glitter Halloween frame. I LOVE glitter so much!! Anyone else? I'm sure everyone does. Right?! It turned out so dang cute!!

For supplies, I bought a wooden 8X10 frame from Hobby Lobby and black glitter. I already had on hand some modge podge and a black paint. So to get started your going to want to paint your frame black. I painted mine 2 times. Then I covered it in modge podge and sprinkled the black glitter all over it. Make sure to let the glitter set for about 10 minutes before picking it up. So EASY right? My hubby came home from work and asked me where I had bought this glitter frame from. I was so proud of myself to say that I made it! He was pretty impressed too. It always makes me so very happy when my hubby likes what I make. He is defiantly one of my favorite persons to share my crafting with.

I thought it would be super cute to put a scrapbooking page in the frame. For the layout I used three different types of scrapbook paper, ric-rac, tulle, and these Halloween embellishments.

Later on, I plan on putting a Halloween photo of my cute kids from this years costumes. As of now I added a photo of my guy I took a couple of months ago. My little lady is going to be Wedding Cinderella. She looks so cute in it! and my little guy is going to be Spiderman. Muscles and all. Emma is so excited about her costume. She has been wanting to be a bride for years. LOL! She just can't wait to grow up and get married. She asked me yesterday, if I thought anyone would think she was really getting married when she wears her "wedding dress" LOVE that girl!! 5 year olds are the cutest.

Don't you just love these cute embellishments!! I am in love with them. I bought them at my local scrapbooking store. Love that place!!

I think the black tulle add's so much cuteness to this frame.

Here it is with a Halloween picture of my little guy in his lion costume!! :)

This project was so easy to do! I hope you liked it. I LOVE Halloween and all the fun crafting that goes with it. I think I might have a bit of a Halloween crafting addiction. LOL! I can't stop crafting and I don't think that's really a bad thing. It feels so good when you make something cute for your home.

Have a SPOOKY weekend as for me I will be Crafting The Night Away!

DIY Halloween Wall Art

My Halloween wall of ART was so easy and inexpensive and turned out so very CUTE! The paper I found at my local Scrapbooking store, defiantly made this Halloween wall art SUPER DUPER cute. I think my favorite one is the first one. How about you? I have been loving getting ready for this fun and spooky holiday. Defiantly one of my favorite times to decorate and make things.

I'm going to tell you all how to make this for yourself!! :) The first thing you will need is 3 wooden frames. I bought mine at Michaels Arts and Crafts store. Some other things you will need for this project if you don't already have it in your stash is
  •  Black paint
  •  Sponge brushes
  •  Modge podge
  •  Embellishments
  • Scrapbook paper.

To get started you will need to trace your frame on the scrapbook paper. After that your going to paint the edge of your frame and the inside of it. After the paint has dried cover your frame with modge podge and place the cut out paper on it. Then comes the last and easiest part decorating your frames with your Halloween embellishments.

LOVE the row of tiny WITCH HATS!!

Black Cat Academy! SPOOKY :)

I love the EYE of NEWT!!

I would love to see your Halloween Wall of Art if you decide to make one.  I hope everyone has a fun and spooky Halloween!!

Witch Hat

It has been so very HOT!! over here in Southern California. Seriously, I feel like I'm going to melt. My hubby asked me yesterday if I could go turn the sun down. LOL!  Where is this Fall weather that I NEED so badly. So, yesterday to get my mind off of this hot weather I decided to head over to Michaels Craft store and grab a WITCH hat to decorate. After going over to the craft store my kids and I grabbed ourselves a slushy from the gas station. The cold treats defiantly help when it's so hot outside.

I am in LOVE with the SPIDERS and PUMPKINS on my WITCH hat!! So cute and glittery. I LOVE glitter.

I also LOVE the HALLOWEEN ribbon on this hat! What do you think of the extra SPIDER on the rim of the hat? I'm kind of on the fence about it. This WITCH hat was SO EASY to make!! Anyone can do it! Happy HALLOWEEN time to everyone! I'm getting excited about getting all of my fall stuff out. How about you? If you make one of these cute WITCH hats I would love to see how it turned out!!

Book of Spells

My Book of Spells was super easy to make. Trace some scrapbook paper onto an old book. I painted mine black before I covered it with paper and modge podge.

The Halloween embellishments and paper are from a local scrapbook store.

I found this old medical book at a Thrift Store (Distribution Center). How PERFECT is this for my book of spells Halloween book.

My favorite thing about my Book of Spells book is this embellishment. It reminds me of the movie Hocus Pocus and the witches spell book.

This was a FUN and EASY Halloween project to make.

What kind of fun Halloween projects are you making for this Halloween? I love Halloween!! I cannot wait to decorate for it.

Halloween Magnetic Tin Box

I made this vintage Halloween Magnetic paper dolls for my little Trick or Treater for Halloween this year. This was really easy to make. I found the paper dolls on google images. I uploaded them to Costco because they have the best prices. To make them magnetic you can go over to Walmart and buy magnetic photo paper for $2. I had the tin box on hand and I used scrapbook paper and modge podge to decorate the tin. The stickers I found at my local scrapbook store for a $1. I just know my little lady will love this.
